Located at the crossroads of South and Central Asia, Afghanistan (officially the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan is a landlocked country which is bordered by Iran to the west,Pakistan to the east and south, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan to the north and China to the northeast, it is a mountainous country with plains in the north and southwest. Kabul is the capital and largest city.

2-National museum of Afghanistan
Kabul Museum, also called National Museum of Afghanistan . It is located at Darulaman, outside of Kabul, Afghanistan. It represents belongings related to the country’s history and heritage. It was founded in 1924 and first housed in Koti Baghcha, a royal palace in Kabul, the museum moved to its current location in 1931.
3-Panjshir
Panjshir is a hill station which is located only a 2 hour drive from Kabul.It is considered one of the top tourist destination in the Afghanistan. Get lost in its beautiful running streams,Snow-capped peaks, lush green fields and olde little villages .

4-Kunduz
Kunduz is nestled in the northern part of Afghanistan which offers some of the unique places you should visit.Attractions include the a no of mosques, the remains of fortresses that were used during the war, and some landmarks that remind the visit of Alexander the Great in this city. 5-Band amir national park
Band –e-Amir Lakes is popular tourist destination within Afghanistan. It offer boating in crystal clear blue water and some other activities . Band-e-Amir lakes national park was established in 2009 around Band- e- Amir lakes. Although this spot is open for visitors but you may face lack of basic facilities here.

6-Blue masque
This place is also known as the Shrine of Hazrat Ali, it is a mosque located in the center of Mazar-i-Sharif in the northern Balkh Province of Afghanistan.This site is also famous for the celebration of Nowruz (Persian New Year). At the annual Jahenda Bala ceremony, a holy flag is raised in honour of Hazrat Ali.

7-Bamiyan
Located 230 kilometers northwest of Kabul, the Buddhas of Bamyan were two 6th-century monumental statues of Gautama Buddha carved into the side of a mountain in the Bamiyan valley in the Hazarajat region of central Afghanistan.

9-Jalalabad
This town is surrounded by a large irrigated fields producing fruit, almonds, rice, and grain. Attractions include A large reservoir near Sarobi, located on the way to Kabul, Hada museum,Shahi qasar, Zwanano Park and Darwanta Dam which is famous for fresh fish and green environment .Additionally, it offer park for women / youth, hotels and restaurants . See the main historical bridge, the only connection to other three provinces.

Bagram is located about 25 kilometers north of the capital Kabul. This historical city is located at the junction of the Ghorband and Panjshir Valley, near today’s city of Charikar, Afghanistan. In past this area was a gateway from Ancient India along the Silk Road. Now a days, there is an air base and troops camp .
