Though it has dabbled in other things like bikes and yachts, Pininfarina is primarily renowned for its work in the automotive industry. The eminent design firm now intends to employ its substantial talents to develop an opulent spa resort and residential neighbourhood within the beautiful Mexican rainforest.
On the Yucatán Peninsula of Mexico, the project, known as Aldea Uh May, will be situated next to the small town of Francisco Uh May, assuming everything goes according to plan. The development will cover 20 hectares (49.4 acres).
