The X-Trail Unwind transforms Nissan’s popular global SUV, known in North America as the Rogue, into a stress-melting machine. The concept features a sleek, ergonomic trailer sundeck and a slide-out coffee bar. It’s a perfect setup for adventurers looking to relax, unwind, and recharge in nature.
The towable sundeck is a standout feature, offering wavy, ergonomic loungers built into its surface for comfortable outdoor lounging. This al fresco relaxation spot pairs perfectly with the X-Trail’s espresso bar, which includes a premium espresso machine, bean grinder, siphon coffee maker, and mug storage.
The design takes cues from Nissan’s previous concepts, like the 2021 Office Pod, but focuses more on leisure than remote work. The slide-out coffee station, compact and functional, ensures every coffee break becomes an unforgettable experience. Ambient lighting and a slatted design enhance its aesthetic appeal, making it a showstopper.
For music lovers, Nissan also introduced the X-Trail Remastered Concept. This version replaces the coffee bar with a turntable sound system, offering a unique blend of vintage vibes and modern technology. It’s powered by Nissan’s Leaf battery-based power station, providing an eco-friendly energy source for hours of entertainment.
While these vehicles are technically show cars, Nissan has previously surprised fans by turning concept vehicles into production models. The X-Trail Unwind and its companion, the X-Trail Remastered, might just follow suit.
The 2025 Tokyo Auto Salon runs through the weekend, giving attendees a chance to experience these groundbreaking concepts firsthand. Whether it’s the innovative coffee bar or the relaxing sundeck, Nissan’s X-Trail Unwind is redefining the day camper experience.
