$250K Golden Tiny House Brings Luxury and Glamour to the Small Living Movement

The Golden House, described as one of the most exclusive tiny houses in the world, stands out with its mirrored gold glass finish and luxurious design. Priced at a whopping $250,000, this high-end tiny home offers a unique combination of luxury living and a minimalist lifestyle. The house’s striking appearance, coupled with an array of premium features, posiftions it among the most sought-after luxury tiny homes in the market.

Designed by Estonian company ÖÖD, the Golden House is a rectangular shelter measuring 25 ft in length and 10 ft in width, giving it a total floorspace of 283 sq ft. This puts it on par in size with other tiny house models like the Thuya, but it comes at a price point double that of similar offerings, making it a prime choice for those seeking premium prefabricated homes.

One of the key attractions of the Golden House is its gold-shimmering glass exterior, which was exclusively commissioned for this project. Paired with some wooden cladding at the rear, the house offers a blend of natural and modern aesthetics. Inside, the home exudes a sense of luxury with its oak paneling, underfloor heating, and gold-colored fittings. The large multipurpose room, bathed in natural light thanks to the expansive glass windows, serves as the central living space.

The layout of the Golden House is simple yet efficient. A seating area with a coffee table takes center stage, while the compact kitchen on one side is equipped with essential amenities like a gold-colored sink, fridge, and cabinetry. The bedroom area is located adjacent to the seating, featuring a double bed and a spacious storage unit. On the opposite side, the bathroom—accessible from the kitchen—offers a modern setup with a wall-mounted toilet, sink, storage, and a shower with a stunning outdoor view, thanks to the mirrored glass finish that also ensures privacy.

Although the Golden House uses a standard RV-style power hookup, it can be upgraded to an off-the-grid system, complete with solar panels, making it an appealing option for those interested in sustainable tiny homes.

With only 79 units available, the Golden House caters to a niche audience willing to invest in a luxury tiny home getaway. Around 30 of these units are expected to be sold across Europe and the United States, while the remaining homes are targeted for markets in the Middle East and other regions. This limited production is a clever nod to gold’s atomic number, which is also 79, adding to the exclusivity of the offer.

If you’re seeking a blend of luxury, modern design, and a minimalist lifestyle, the Golden House is a top contender in the world of high-end prefabricated homes.
